How to set up my vendor account?
- Go to the Growcery website (www.growcery.markets)
- Click on the “Sign Up” button.
- Enter your email address and create a secure password.
- Select the option “I am a vendor.”
- Click the “Register” button.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Enter the name you would like for your shop on Growcery. (Your store URL will automatically be generated using this name.)
- Enter your address and phone number. (you can edit later)
- Please read the Terms and Conditions and Click the checkbox to confirm you have read and agree.
- Click the “Register” button.
Initial Store Setup
Congratulations on creating your account! You’ll now see the “Welcome to marketplace” page.
- You have the option to set up your store now (it only takes about 2 minutes!) or complete it later. A progress bar at the top of the page will show you what needs to be done.
- To start the setup now, click the “Let’s go to setup now” button.
Configure Your Store Details
- Enter Your Address: Provide your farm or business address. You can choose to hide your exact address from customers if you prefer, or just show your general area by zip code.
- Choose Your Store Category: Select the category that best represents the types of items you will be selling.
- Verify Your Map Location: Ensure your location is correct on the map. You can edit it by adjusting the address in the bar above the map.
- Optional: Display Your Email: If you would like to show your registration email address in your contact information on your store page, click the box to enable this option.
- Click the “Continue” button.
Set Up Your Payment Details
Next, you’ll be taken to the payment details page where you can choose how you’d like to receive your profits.
- The current options are PayPal or Bank Transfer. We will be adding more options in the future.
- If you’re not ready to enter this information, you can click “Skip this step” to complete it later.
- Otherwise, click the “Continue” button.
Vendor Verification (Optional but Recommended)
To show customers that your store is verified, you can complete this optional step.
- On the verification page, click “Start Verification” for the address verification.
- Click “Upload files.”
- You can either drag and drop your file or click “Select file” to manually search for it on your computer.
- Once you’ve found the appropriate file (a document showing the same address you used to register), click “add file” in the lower right corner.
- Then, click “submit.” Your file will be uploaded for review.
- If you are using a Business name, complete the same steps to upload verification for your business name.
- Click “Continue to submit.”
- Once submitted, our team will review your documents and, upon approval, apply a “Verified Vendor” badge to your profile.
Congratulations! Your Store is Ready!
You’ve successfully completed the initial setup of your Growcery store. Now, you can start customizing your storefront, adding products, and connecting with customers by clicking the “Go to your Dashboard” button!
